Mayor Bloomberg says he's unsure of what caused the permeating gas smell that blanketed NYC and Jersey City this morning. The deac has a theory. The Giants and Jets stunk up the joint so badly last night that the smells carried over down from New England, and up from Philadelphia, creating what some researchers call "El Stinko." A similar, though less pungent, phenomenon occurred last fall when the Yankees and Mets were eliminated from the baseball playoffs.
