The Country is a tough guy

The deac and several members of the Olympic Math team spent Memorial Day Weekend in upstate New York. The kayaking, biking, and hiking were intense, but satisfying. And the people! Well, they were just about the friendliest people you'll meet. In particular, the deac would like to cite the Mountain Brauhaus for their cordial demeanor in informing us that they didn't serve dinner past 7pm. That'll teach the deac and friends not to wait until dinner time to eat dinner!

And also, much praise goes out to the family who stared with a not-at-all-distrustful eye out of the restaurant window at the math team as we stood in the parking lot, and then proceeded to set their car alarm. Being from Jersey City, the deac knows the importance of car security, and was glad he could provide a friendly reminder.

How was Indiana Jones?

Beats me.

The deac and co. purchased tickets to the new Indiana Jones movie last night, but were shocked to discover that some mischievous theater employee had switched the film reel with that of Cocoon 2.

Some agent of Satan called an 8:30 am meeting today. The deac feels like a Thriller zombie.

Concessions are a tough guy

It is with great sadness that the deac concedes the "Race to 200 Facebook Friends" to Best Week Eva. Though deac battled long and hard, his campaign fell short. Congratulations, BWE. You're tough and a major internet whore.

Tampon Talk is a new tough guy

People often tell the deac how great youretough is. "It's changed my life." "I can barely make it through the day without it." "Give me a baby - you won't even have to help raise it," and so on. Despite all this awesomeness, one thing missing from youretough is a woman's touch (Bab Fobipe doesn't count).
